wow! feels like forever since i've enameled a bottle cap. got out the hammer and pounded them into a conical shape then off to the torch! embellished with components from kim at numinosity beads. i call them fireball. lol you can find them in my enamels shop. xoxo

busy, busy, busy and etsy thoughts~

i've been having the second thoughts about etsy. what do you all think? i feel like i spend too much time for so little return as i haven't many admirers in either shop so my fan base is low. hahaha. i just said fan base. lol. 

i recently had to empty my shops due to a gallery taking most of my work. that's a good thing, but now there's not much to show of my worth. so which is better. an empty shop or filling it up and spending the cash on their mega site?

i have have been spending much time creating as you can see. i'm getting ready for my biggest show of the year and that brings another concern. i need items in my shop for those followers. ugh.

well. any thoughts are welcome. however, as i type away, i'm realizing i have my answer. i need to fill my shops. lol enjoy the scenery! xoxo

~a fire like morning and a thank you

i torched enameled and built a fire just to create for you!

the green sticks are double green overlay with gilding on the fold. 

i think i'll make more of these in different colors.way cool if i must say.

the pit fired clay beads are a surprise! 

this time they made it through the fire. 

sometimes they don't fare so well as this is not a science but a journey 

from wet clay to pit fired components.

the fire is never the same and the combustibles change making for an 

ashy color sometimes and jet black at others. like on these kitty cats who got both.

variables i cannot control.
